Media Room & Expert Contacts Guide
At ACS Distance Education we’re starting off 2010 with a strong media focus and have some big news to tell you.
We also have a new resource that we hope you'll be able to make regular use of, especially regarding horticulture, gardening and nursery issues.
ACS has developed a new Expert Contacts Guide for use by the media to assist with any quotes or information you may need relating to a huge variety of topics. Our tutors from around Australia, most of whom have current industry positions in their areas of expert knowledge, are available to speak about an almost endless range of topics, in study areas and courses they oversee. (We also have a UK list in development by our UK office which deals with our European students and tutors.)
So if you are writing or researching a specific subject, we encourage you to scan our list of tutors and their expert areas and give us a call at ACS so we can deliver you up-to-date information, research and opinion when required.
It's easy and fast to access - go online to the ACS homepage at acs.edu.au and scroll down to the MEDIA ROOM panel. When you click on this it will take you to the Media Room homepage which lists subject areas, and also gives you an option to scan our latest media releases and see our media release library.
If you are looking for feature articles, there is also an ‘Articles’ option highlighted. When clicked, it will take you to an extensive list of articles written for reference or publication by our principal and tutors.
If you have any queries or would like to arrange an interview, please call or email the ACS head office on the Gold Coast on 07) 5562 1088 and ask for our Media and Marketing Officers Denise Hodges ([email protected]),or Kate Gibson ([email protected]), or if urgent, ACS Principal John Mason ([email protected]).
All three will be able to direct you to the expert you require. We understand you will be working to a deadline, and will endeavour to arrange what you need as quickly as possible.
