Proficiency Award In Horticulture Duration icon 500 hours

Have the experience and skills - but need a qualification? This course offers you the opportunity to gain a qualification without having to spend years studying. 

Qualifications are usually required these days, irrelevant of how much industry experience you may have. Those without at least a basic qualification are usually overlooked for promotion or even from gaining new employment opportunities.

 A "Specialised Qualification" for people that have experience but need a theoretical foundation as well as a qualification. This comprises a set syllabus consisting generally of 30 lessons that relate to a particular specialist theme. A Proficiency Award allows you to study subjects in a highly specialised area. You select and study three short courses of your own choice, which relate to each other (eg. Three crops or three landscaping short courses). In addition, you must complete 200 hrs of approved work experience before receiving the award. Approval of course structure must be obtained before enrolling.
