From growing your own fruit and vegetables to sourcing alternative forms of energy, a more self-sufficient, healthy and affordable lifestyle is just a bit of interesting study away!

In 100 hours each, learn how to grow:
Vegetables
Fruit (in a temperate climate)
Fruit (in a warm climate)
Berries
Nuts
Nuts (in a warm climate)
Mushrooms
Grapes for Viticulture
Herbs (basic course)
Herbs (culture)
Herbs (medicinal)
Herbs (culinary)

Or, learn much more about a self-sufficient lifestyle:
Permaculture I, Permaculture II, Permaculture III, Permaculture IV
Alternative Energy, Carpentry, Healthy Buildings I, Healthy Buildings II, Mud Brick Construction

Any of the above can also be put together to create your own self-designed certificate or Proficiency Award. (Choices must be approved by a tutor to make sure the courses are a good 'fit').
