Become a Recognised COUNSELLOR with the Australian Counselling Association

The ACS Diploma in Counselling and Psychology is recognised through the Australian Counselling Association, arguably the largest and most influential association of professional counsellors in Australia .

If you are serious about a career in counselling, we strongly suggest you use our course counselling service or contact our academic staff as a first step. It is a rewarding but demanding field to work in, and not everyone who is attracted to the profession is necessarily suited to the demands and stresses that come with this type of job. We are only too happy to give you a better insight into the “real world” of counselling before you commence on that career path. For details on our diploma click on http://www.acs.edu.au/courses/product.aspx?id=468

WHY STUDY WITH ACS?

There are many reasons people choose us.

Compare with other colleges and universities and you might be surprised. Student Testimonials

- Prompt service (Usually same day on most communications)

- Unrestricted contact with academic staff (where can you get that today?)

- Quality of staff (Check our staff qualifications and experience)

- Learning through guided experiences; not just factual information and testing recall.

- Topics and combinations of topics not offered elsewhere

- International visibility (eg. search the internet globally on Google, and see who appears)

We believe:

The Student (customer) comes first. Education is a guided learning experience, far more than just notes or books. A good course will leave you with a sound foundation and a capacity to build your skills and knowledge in the discipline you chose.

BE DIFFERENT

Most people choose to study things that are attractive; but the most attractive things are studied by lots of people. Graduates from popular courses thus tend to have lots of competition: lots of other people in the workplace with a similar set of skills to what they have. If you want to increase your opportunity, avoid the mainstream!
