ACS holds Training Provider status with the AIH (Australian Institute of Horticulture) and has just been listed as a Preferred Member Training Provider. As such, ACS students who meet AIH criteria are entitled to subscribe to AIH as the Category 2 Student member (see details below):

One of the Objectives of AIH is to encourage budding horticulturists to continue their professional and educational journey within our wonderful industry. As of April 1st 2012 the National Council of AIH have restructured the student memberships - as voted by the National Council Meeting late 2011.

There are two categories of student membership, and both categories will receive the AIH publications, either in a printed or digital format:
Category 1 - Student Member - cost $88.00
Category 2 - Student Member of an AIH Preferred Member Training Provider - cost $77.00.

The list of preferred providers will be available on-line on http://www.aih.org.au/members.
The Institute reserves the right to request evidence of enrolment as proof of enrolment.

We are pleased to announce a new tutor and IT team member at our Queensland office: Daryl James.
Daryl juggles the running of his own photography business with his work at ACS, and brings a wealth of hands on experience to our students. His background includes systems analysis, marketing design, operations management, graphic design and typesetting.
He has won multiple first place awards in photography, and holds a degree in Fine Arts, and a number of other qualifications, some of which he is currently completing.
