ACS is an internationally recognised psychology school (college) offering courses in psychology, counselling and psychological biology; from short 10 hour adult education courses to 3 year (or longer) qualifications (eg. Diploma in Psychology and Counselling, recognised by the Australian Counselling Association). ACS courses are also offered under license through affiliate colleges in America, England, India and Ireland.

It is an academic and applied field involving the study of behaviour, mind and thought. There are many divisions of psychology such as child, sport, abnormal just to name a few.
