Advanced Certificate In Applied Management (Photography)

This course is designed to train people for supervisory or managerial positions in the photographic industry. There are 7 modules plus a workplace project in this course. These are the 4 core units common to all streams of this Advanced Certificate, C12CN001. These involve 400 hours of study in total and cover Communications, Management, Office Practices, Business Operations and Marketing. Three photography units involve another 300 hours of study. A workplace project on the photography industry involves the final 200 hrs of study. This course is internationally accredited through I.A.R.C.

Digital Photography

Learn about digital technology. Develop your ability to produce photographs using a digital camera!

Select appropriate equipment for use in digital photography. Then learn the techniques which can be used for digitally capturing images from film photographs, or graphics. Identify and use techniques for processing digital photographs. Understand how digital images can be transferred effectively from a camera (or scanner) onto another device (e.g. a computer, video monitor, television set). ACS is a recognized institution through IARC (International Accreditation and Recognition Council).

Diploma In Photojournalism

Photojournalists work in publishing (electronic or print media) either self employed (freelance) or in house (employed by a publisher); contributing images and (in smaller enterprises), writing as well to published work. Opportunities are relatively strong and diverse for skilled photographers, but for the person who can also wrtite text and process images using software, demand for this mix of skills has been very high. This course is internationally accredited through I.A.R.C
